Faced with constantly changing standards and techniques in the decontamination of sites, clean water and sewage treatment plants and the installation of pipelines, Catania keeps in tune with the new and advanced technologies in this field. In addition, the company maintains excellent relations with the various consultants in the field as well as with the various treatment and landfill sites for contaminated soil.





























Île-Perrot

Completed in 2007, the project to expand the water supply and upgrade the standards of the drinking water treatment plant of the Régie des eaux du Québec proved to be a real challenge, for the complexity and scope of the work to be carried out.
Filtration Plant, Pierrefonds

Work completed in 2005. Upgraded the standards of the drinking water treatment plant and added drinking water filters and high-pressure pumps as well as changed the chlorination system.
Environmental Complex, Saint-Michel

Work completed in 2004-2005. Construction of the North pumping station, force mains and stormwater pumps as well as leachate treatment.
Filtration Plant, St-Denis-sur-Richelieu

Work completed in 2004-2005. The contract involved building an anaerobic digester for treatment of effluent from the water supply station and a pumping station.
Filtration Plant, Pointe-Claire

Work completed in 2004. The contract involved building a water treatment plant and making changes to the drinking water filters.
RIEVR

Work completed in 2004. Expansion of the drinking water filtration and treatment plant, including the addition of a pumping station, 8 booster pumping stations and water reservoirs, while carrying out various operations on the system.
Litchfield Basin

Work completed in 2003. The contract involved building the Litchfield stormwater retention basin, mass excavation (500,000 m³) and development of the site.
Prefontaine Center

Within Montreal's Solidarité 5000 logements project, the city of Montreal carried out highly-specialized decontamination operations on the site of Centre Préfontaine, where community gardens were formerly located.
